CONFERENCE PURPOSE

The ISAT'2006 is subtitled INFORMATION AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS - CONCEPTS, TOOLS AND APPLICATIONS in gain to address very hot topics in the field of today's various computer systems based applications.

The purpose of the ISAT'2006 is to discuss a state-of-art of information systems concepts and applications as well as architectures and technologies supporting contemporary information systems. It is also to consider an impact of knowledge, information, computing and communication technologies on managing of the organisation scope of functionality as well as on enterprise information systems design, implementation and maintenance processes taking into account various methodological, technological and technical aspects.

The growth of Internet has dramatically changed the way in which information systems and data are managed, accessed and used commercially to conduct business electronically. ISAT'2006 is devoted to information systems concepts and applications supporting exchange of goods and services by using different business models and exploiting opportunities offered by Internet-based electronic business and commerce solutions.

ISAT'2006 is planned as a forum for presentation of original contributions and for discussions integrating different subjects of today's information systems planning, designing, development and implementation.

Traditionally ISAT'2006 is also devoted as a form for presentation of scientific contributions prepared by Ph.D. students.

All papers accepted for the presentation and presented at the 27th International Scientific School "Information Systems Architecture and Technology" will be published in the ISAT'2006 Proceedings. The format of paper is described at web site of the ISAT'2006.

ACCOMODATION

ISAT'2006 is organised at Szklarska Poręba. The conference will be located at Hotel "Krysztal", 1 Maja Str. 19, situated near the centre of the town. The hotel homepage (in polish, english, german and russian) and additional information is available at:

REGISTRATION

The conference fee is expected to be approximately 700,- PLN. The conference fee includes attendance to all sessions, publishing of the submitted and accepted contribution, one copy of ISAT'2006 Proceedings and accomodation in Szklarska Poreba from September 13 (Wednesday evening) till September 16 (Saturday morning).
